The poll conducted in July showed that people from the same age group living in Ontario and Quebec were less worried about their financial future compared to the poll conducted in 2022. 43% of respondents in 2022 said they were not affected by rising interest rates, however that number increased to 48% in the July poll. The Bank of Canada will make a decision in September regarding interest rates after a two month pause.
